What to Expect When Working with Me
Every therapist operates with their own unique blend of specialties, practices, and personality. This individuality shapes their therapeutic approach, making it essential for clients to find the right fit for their needs. Whether it's through a particular method, a focus on certain issues, or the therapist's personal style, each session reflects this unique combination. Understanding these differences can help you select the therapist that's best for you. If I'm not the optimal fit for you, that's ok and we'll look to find a better match.

In the Beginning
In our first session, my primary goal is simply to get to know you well. This is an opportunity for us to connect, for you to share your story, and for me to understand your unique needs and aspirations. We'll explore what brings you to psychotherapy and begin to lay the groundwork for our collaborative work together.

Charting our Course: Mapping the Road Ahead
By our second session, we'll begin to map out a clear course for the road ahead. This involves collaboratively identifying your goals for therapy and discussing how we will work together to achieve them. My approach is unique in its focus on tailoring a personalized plan that resonates with your individual journey and personal goals, whatever they may be

Hitting the Road Together
From the third session onwards, we truly hit the road for the journey ahead. We'll engage in the therapeutic work, checking our route along the way to ensure we are always moving in the right direction and making consistent progress. This ongoing dialogue and adjustment ensure that your therapy remains relevant and effective for your evolving needs. Sometimes we learn practical strategies and tools to propel us forward. Other times, it involves a deep, reflective look into parts of our experience that we may overlook: thoughts, feelings, values, beliefs, memories, and relationships.
"Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens."
